Dressing the Part
The agency’s objective is to create change by equipping Montana women each year with the resources needed to attain long-term employment and success - ultimately building skilled leaders in our community. We provide professional attire and interview preparation to women ready to enter the workforce . Our two programs offer women an opportunity to participate in workshops based on their individual needs, including job search skills, career education, and job retention. Thanks to our generous donors, all services are delivered at no cost to our clients.
How We Work
Partner Organization Referral
Dress for Success Billings partners with local organizations representing over 35 agencies, community groups, and colleges. Local organizations serve as referring agents to connect their job-ready clients with our services. These partnerships allow us to combine our collective resources and enhance the impact on individual clients and the Montana community.
Self-Referral
Dress for Success Billings provides services at no cost, to job-ready women. Women are able to self-refer for services by completing the referral form. Suiting Program
Upon referral, a client attends an initial suiting appointment where she receives one-on-one attention from a volunteer personal shopper to select complete interview outfits. Once a client lands a job, she is invited back for additional suiting appointments to help build her career wardrobe.  Each referral is good for four appoinments.
Career Center
Our Career Center provides one-on-one support services, helping develop a cover letter and
resume, participating in mock interviews, applying for financial aid and college admission, and
job search assistance. In addition to the one- on-one support, we offer a variety of classes such
as professional development, computer training, and financial education, as well as a mentoring
program. We have a variety of classes offered once a week at our 333 N 31st St. Billings, MT 59102 location.
